This privacy policy describes how WW7ATS ("the App") handles your information. WW7ATS is an amateur (ham) radio Amateur Television (ATV) streaming application available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
The App requests access to your device's camera for the following purposes:
Important: Camera data is streamed only to the WW7ATS repeater system. No video data is sent anywhere else or stored by the developer.
The App requests access to your device's microphone for the following purposes:
Important: Audio data is streamed only to the WW7ATS repeater system. No audio data is sent anywhere else or stored by the developer.
WW7ATS does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers operated by the developer. The app does not include any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks.
The app stores your settings (callsign, stream quality preferences) locally on your device. Your stream key is stored securely in the device Keychain (iOS/tvOS/macOS). Slideshow images are loaded temporarily into memory and are not saved or transmitted beyond the RTMP stream.
The App does not use any third-party services that collect user data. The only network communication is the RTMP stream sent to the WW7ATS repeater, HLS playback of the WW7ATS feed, and (on Apple TV) the local network connection to your iPhone for Continuity Camera.
This app is not directed at children under 13. Use of amateur radio requires an FCC license.
